Powder Coating Alloy Wheels

There are a number of ways in which powder coating is superior to traditional painting. Durability, finish and environmental impact to name a few. The last of these is due to it not using a solvent the way traditional paints do. Instead, powder coating is essentially baking the colour on, lacquering it and then baking it again. This creates a beautifully smooth and shiny finish which is highly durable in all weather conditions.

Restoring the Shine to Powder Coated Alloy Wheels
All the wheels that come in to us are stripped back to the bare alloy and, after stripping the paint, we repair all chips, scuffs and scrapes before undertaking the powder coating process. Once the wheels are looking as good as new again, we put the tyres back on, balance the wheels and put them back on the car or call you to arrange collection.

We track each wheel through the whole process using a unique serial number etched into the wheel so no mistakes are made.

For customers who have damaged the alloy wheels on leased vehicles, having the powder coating restored with us will save them a considerable amount of money as the fee for returning the vehicles with scratched wheels is often far more than having the powder coat refurbished by us.

Call us now for a free no obligation quote. If you are bringing in your car and require a courtesy car service, please ask when booking in as this is subject to availability.

Diamond Cut Alloy Wheels

**APRIL 2023 - Please note we are currently unable to offer Diamond Cut refurbishment**

High spec, prestige cars are now often sold with diamond cut alloy wheels. This smart shiny finish is distinctive and adds a special something to the overall look of a high class vehicle. In fact, it’s proving so popular that many everyday cars are coming out with diamond cut alloys as standard. Keeping them looking this good, however, is a challenge at times.

As diamond cut alloy wheels have to be specially restored using specialist equipment, namely a specifically designed lathe with a diamond cutting tip to remove an incredibly thin layer of alloy to create that unique diamond cut look, it is not possible to offer a mobile alloy wheel service for diamond cut alloy wheels, which are usually brought in loose. Whilst your car is in the workshop, a courtesy car (subject to availability) can be supplied when you require diamond cut alloy wheel refurbishment with us - please ask when booking our services.

At Kerbed, we have that specialist equipment and trained staff who are passionate about their work who repair and restore diamond cut alloy wheels to mint condition so owners of beautiful cars can keep them looking pristine.

Bring the car or the wheels into our workshop in Small Dole, West Sussex and we can fully refurbish diamond cut wheels in three to four days. So call us now on 01273 494678 to book yours in.
